Meaning can be elusive

Meaning can be elusive.

Sometimes the more you grasp at it, the more it eludes you.

Especially in the emptiness of the mundane, where nothing substantiates the desires of an infirmed, vulnerable, aging, and inevitable mortality.

The only fulfillment capable of satiating the thirst of the existential, is the depth of the Transcendent found in the Noetic dimension of man.

Sometimes in order to cultivate an encounter with meaning, one could simply ‘be’ mindful, in the gift of the present.
