Embracing the Transcendent Perspective: Unity in Diversity
From the highest transcendent perspective, there are no divisions; all is one. Imagine for a moment that you are on a spaceship, leaving planet Earth. As you ascend beyond the ozone layer and approach the realm of the moon, you realize that the distinctions of everyday life grow increasingly distant.
If you have ever been on a plane at high altitudes, looking down, you probably noticed that everyone starts to resemble little ants or tiny specks. The individual differences that were so apparent up close seem to vanish. Everyone appears almost the same, moving about in unison.
From this transcendent, bird’s-eye view, it becomes clear that we are more similar than different. So why do we focus more on what divides us rather than what unites us? Why do we not recognize our commonalities? We share more similarities than differences.
As existentialists and philosophers often say, we are born into this world naked and will leave it in the same way. However, there is one caveat: the experience between the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega.
If God or the divine is the beginning and the end, and also everything in between, then we too share in this divine experience. We share this journey together, from where we came to where we shall go. In the end, all that can accompany us is the experience of life, the memories carried in our hearts.
May your experience of life seek fulfillment, not emptiness. We are more similar than different. If we work towards this transcendent understanding, we align ourselves with that same transcendence. I promise you this: see the world from the perspective of the universe, and the universe will also conspire to help you succeed.
