The Altar of Devotion: Awakening the Spirit of Truth

The Altar of Devotion: Awakening the Spirit of Truth

Before the fires that dances, the master is found. This is a testament that speaks to the fiery element of life, that burns on the altar of devotion and found in the chambers of the heart.

This ardor ignites not only the flames of passion but also the heart of the truth seeker, where a yearning for more – desires for the relentless pursuit of truth.

In this purposeful search for meaning, no limitations exist except those imposed by one’s own need to understand.

It is this very need that both confines and liberates. For what is spirituality if not a medicine for the sickly infirmed?

Was it not Saint Gregory who likened the bishop to a physician attending to the sick? And was it not Saint Francis who suggested that the church is like a hospital for the infirmed? Even the native healer reminds us that the spirit is medicine, a balm that soothes the mind and opens the cavity of the soul.

When this authentic revelation occurs, the truth emerges, radiant and undeniable – a resurrection of one’s way, truth, and light.
