Kindness as Strength: The Hidden Priesthood of Humanity
In a world often predatory, many may confuse kindness for weakness, cloaked as it is in the veils of ignorance that shroud society. It is not my intention to sound pessimistic or holier than thou; rather, a glance at history reveals a truth: the wisemen, philosophers, sages, and mystics have consistently retreated into their caves, distancing themselves from the villages. Frequently, they find solace in solitude, dedicating their lives to their books and contributing to humanity’s enlightenment.
How then for the wise in a predatory world to navigate the turbulent landscape? Staying grounded in meaningful connections serves as a lifeline. This connection embodies the essence of the moment and represents great healing amid social turmoil. Life beckons us to seek this grounding, redirecting our focus toward purpose rather than becoming lost in the obsession of “why is this happening to me.” By looking beyond the surface, we can appreciate the depth of understanding that resides within. In doing so, our insights will flow naturally from the wellspring of our eternal wisdom.
Support towards this aim makes all the difference. For when one acts selflessly, it is a reflection of the love they hold within. For the devotee of the transcendent, it is love for their divine that compels them, coupled with a vision that recognizes the spirit alive and perfect in every son and daughter and they of the celestial. They do not perceive the frailties of those they serve; instead, they see the latent star of divinity within, a glimmering beacon of potentiality, calling them to find their way home.
This mission defines our existence from the moment of our birth until we transition into the realms of the great beyond. Nothing will ever alter this truth. We are, first and foremost, servant-priests of the Hidden Priesthood, now and forever.
